Luzmila Taylor is a New York born and raised singer, songwriter, dancer, producer, and creative that takes pride in their Panamanian and Black American heritage blending jazz, soul, folk, R&B and hip-hop.

After doing choir vocals for heavy-hitting artists like The Eagles and Andrea Boccelli, Taylor started sharing and performing their original music under the name moonie. In November 2022, they released their dulcet debut EP, ‘average love’. This was followed by their largest single yet, ‘i got it’, in September 2023, which stands as a song of positive affirmation for anyone who may struggle with having faith in themselves. 

Taylor's latest singles, 'library' and 'trapped' explore the importance of ancestral and interpersonal loss, communication, and connection. These singles precede their debut EP under the name “Luzmila Taylor”, Charlotte’s Web, where they will invite listeners on a journey through their mind with introspective lyrics and genre-changing production.

Taylor hopes to grow in their work, paving the way for a community of people that encourages themselves and others to choose vulnerability and courage. Their music exists to challenge themself and their listeners to think deeply -  both internally and about what this world shows and gives to us.
